Christmas Decorations

One more quick post tonight that I've been meaning to do since after Thanksgiving is pics of my Christmas decorations this year.

Our tree all lit up....I love sitting in the dark with nothing but the twinkle of tree lights.

Before I started Christmas card crafting this year, I did put together a basket of all my Christmas materials for easy transport and access and have since added to it with some new finds this year.

This was one of Tiff and I's craft projects last year. We just took a floral wreath and stuck different floral pieces in it.  Also added some decorative silver(plain and glittered, small and large) ornaments around  the wreath and silver beads. Very simple to do!

This was our other project last year. We glued peppermint sticks to a vase and lined it with ribbon and then made our poinsettia arrangement with some pine cones and berries stuck in it. Very nice  to pull it out of my Christmas storage tote this year and have it smell of peppermint. Then I added some poinsettia tea light holders around it.

My hubby and I's stockings. :) I love these!

These reindeer I bought at a thrift store. My mom had these and they were always some of my favorite decorations. I love the red and green vintage look of them.

These are also a thrift store buy.

My mom got these for me. I love them...again, I just love the vintage-ness of these cute carolers.

Another fav: The clay animation Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer.

My poinsettia table runner from Hobby Lobby.

So there you have it. That's how I decorated this year. I did not put everything out as I wasn't sure how my cat would react to it...we took them down before we brought him home last Christmas.

He's doing very well and loves the tree:
Nightfury right after we put the tree up.

I'd say he likes it quite well!!
Have a great week everyone!!
