Since Sunday happenings this week...

A few things that have happened since Sunday...

We received our first gifts for Christmas from my husband's Aunt and Uncle...Glittery, white poinsettias!

They also gave us a big box of fruit!--Apples, oranges, grapefruits, and pears! Oh my!!

I then decided to have chocolate dipped oranges Sunday night...:)

Monday night I finally got all my quart sized jar gifts fabric-ed and tagged. 

I'm so excited to give these for Christmas this year!

Bill and I only had our gifts(2) to each other under the tree so far....

...and then my parents dropped off all of their gifts so they don't have so much to bring into town to our place on Christmas day....our tree is kind of throwing up now with gifts...

Tuesday, my husband made a huge batch of puppy chow for his Wednesday night marathon of watching Lord of the Rings on blu-ray with his guy friends. 

Today(Wednesday) I went over to my Aunt's, bright and early, to make padaha with my mom and my aunt for Christmas dinner. Mashing up some cheesy potatoes.

This isn't even close to the amount we made today. We made cheesy potato and sauerkraut. I love the sauerkraut!! This is my quick sneak photo before my aunt yelled at me for having them uncovered. 

Heart attack in a pan...lots of buttery onions to put on top after they are made. 

They're boilling....we didn't lose too many in the pot today.

I love being Ukrainian and this is a traditional Ukrainian Christmas dish. 

Now if I can just keep my hands off of them until Christmas....Wish me luck!!
