Welcome to the first challenge of the Cut It Up Challenges Blog!! Our first challenge is called "Anything Goes". You can make any kind of paper project you want to but you must remember to include a die-cut somewhere on your project!
So for my first project, I had to use my "Love You a Latte" Cricut cartridge! School has just barely started and I'm crazy busy in the substitute teaching world! I will need lots of coffee to keep up with the elementary kiddies.
Doesn't it look yummy and make you want and crave one?? It totally does for me!
I cut two of the base images in tan for the inside of the card so that a message could be written on the inside. The purple twine wraps around to the inside and makes it easy to slip a gift card or cash inside. Yes, Cold Stone Creamery was all I had to use as an example. If the gift card is not in an envelope I would add a few glue dots to the back of the gift card to keep it from accidentally slipping out. The glue dots are easily removed when the receiver wants to use their gift card.
Tied to the twine is the sentiment "You're the cream in my coffee" from Pink by Design's "You Are" stamp set.
I also embossed the whipped cream on top with Cuttlebug's "Swiss Dots".
Come and play along with us!! Remember it must include a die-cut somewhere on your project! Here is the prize we are giving away!
The challenge ends September 19 at noon EST!! Go and link up HERE.
Looks delicious, Jennifer! What a great idea for coffee (or ice cream) lovers!
