More Christmas Cards!!

Hello, Hello!!

Three new cards I've made today. I have just a few more to go but the ones I've made up until now are for friends and family I won't be seeing for Christmas so they will be put in the mail to go out tomorrow. :) Today we received our first batch of Christmas cards as well. I LOVE getting Christmas cards in the mail...or just mail other than bills in general. Doesn't everyone??

I used paper from DCWV's The Christmas and Winter Stack and  used the  Cricut ink brown cartridge to draw the  gingerbread boy and girl(from the Paper Doll Dress-Up cartridge) and then went back over it to cut them out with the blade. The stamp sentiment says "the joys of Christmas are found in moments shared together" and the stamp is from My Craft Spot as well as the "Merry Christmas!".

I cut this tree and the Merry Christmas using the  Celebrate with a Flourish cartridge. Used the stamp "The sweetest sounds of the season are found in the quiet stirrings of our hearts from My Craft spot and added a little bit of ribbon on the snowflake/music paper and voila!!

So the top light green and white paper is from DCWV's The Christmas and Winter stack and the bottom ornament paper I found at Hobby Lobby(more than likely by the Paper Studio) and then I cut the ornament on top from the Celebrate with a flourish cartridge. The inside I used the Cartoche card from Sweethearts cartridge and intead of folding it like you would do if you were making the card its intended for, I added two red brads where the fold notches are and then inside the cartoche shape I stamped "Merry Christmas" and on the opposite side stamped the Santa in white.  I think I will be entering this one into The Paper Variety's "Anything Goes" challenge.

Time to go watch have some supper and watch some Christmas movies with the hubby(it's our day off together) starting with "It's a Wonderful Life" and also "Polar Express"....possible more...we shall see what time and energy allows for.

Everyone have a great night!!
