Oh the Weather Outside is Frightful....

...But inside the craftin' is oh' so delightful!! teehee!!

Hey everyone!

I hope everyone's Sunday went well! My friend Tiff and I were going to get together and craft but we are currently getting our first REAL crappy weather today. Usually we have snow and a lot of it by Halloween but this year we got lucky and it waited until December.

My cat is crazy and still wanted to be out on the balcony today:
This was early afternoon and you can see the grass still in the background...well you can't anymore. I need to go shovel in front of our garage in fact(huge drift in the way).

So unfortunately, we crafted alone today but we did send each other pics and emails of our finished projects. :D If I had thought of it at the time, I would've suggested and opted for Skype. Oh well...

So here is my first batch of Christmas cards and these are my very first homemade Christmas cards since I just got into card crafting a month or two ago. I must say I'm officially addicted! Oh and everyone will be getting an original card. I kind of make them with their personality's in mind. Such as if they are religious or if they like a funny/cute card. All of these are easel cards. Ever since I found a tutorial on how to do an easel card, that is my go-to technique for card crafting now. I think it's great to get a gorgeous hand-crafted card in the mail and be able to display the outside and the inside greeting and you don't get that with the traditional way of doing cards. Plus, they are easier to fall over. At some point, I will start experimenting and learning how to do some of the window cards I've seen that others have made. Well, without further ado, here are the cards for tonight:

Card One: It says "Wanted: Magic Hat!" & "Merry Christmas"

I used "Hoot 'n' Holler's" cartridge and it says "Happy Hoo-Li Days" The red brad on the right side of the greeting pulls out a tag that says who it's from.

This one I used the "Paper Doll Dress-Up" cartridge to make baby Jesus in his manger. I also used some fun religious paper with the three kings on it and some text from the Bible. The stamp on the red paper says: "May God gently touch your Christmas with Hope and Joy and Love." I made a small tag sticking out from behind that saying from me and my husband.

This was also made using the "Paper Doll Dress-Up" cartridge.  I love this cartridge so much!! I made Santa and sleight with a sack full of toys and four of his reindeer. I'm not sure if you can tell but the first reindeer on the left has a red nose. ;) Underneath the ribbon it says "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" and on the tag by the Snowflake brad it says "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas". I LOVE this one!! I will also be entering this one into Exploring Cricut's Challenge #5.

Lots of fun cards already and I'm only one-fourth of the way done. All of the stamp greetings are from My Craft Spot. They are super fun!! There are 5 new Christmas sets. I purchased three of them....that was what my husband said I could get...otherwise I would own all 5!

That's everything for tonight!

As always, thank you for taking time to look at my creations. I enjoy reading every one of your comments!!
