INSM12 #4 Challenge-An Adventure Awaits!!

Hi Everyone,

Today's layout is for Let's Scrap INSD challenge #4 created by Laura Alberts. It was to use 5 recycled items in a layout. This was a really fun challenge.

The sketch I used is LS sketch 3-24-10:

The five recycled items I used are here:

Ginger Ale box, Apple Jacks cereal box, a handle from a gift bag, a foam piece that used to hold brads, and a Hershey candy wrapper.

The result was this:

I used the ginger ale box to make the snake, the apple jacks cereal box is the coded stepping stones which I used Tim Holtz crackle paint and then misted it with Tattered Angels black magic glimmer mist, the hershey wrapper was turned into a map-I stamped it and wrote on it and then burned the edges, the handle for the gift bag was turned into his whip-I fringed it on the end with scissors, and the foam piece is the shelf that holds the "Holy Grail".

I used Cricut's Paper Doll Dress-up to make the little Indiana Jones and the green background I crumpled up and then flattened it and inked it with Tim Holtz's peeled paint. I'm still kind of coming off the grunge layout high! teehee!!

Thanks for the challenge Laura and thanks everyone for looking!! Love reading your feedback!!
