Let's Scrap 5-2-12 Sketch-A Child of God

Happy Hump Day everyone!!

I have joined the twitter-sphere and you can now follow me on Twitter(button on blog) for new posts/updates and have also joined Facebook for my blog-button to come soon but if you'd like to "like" me on FB now, here's my link: http://www.facebook.com/ScrappinExpectTheUnexpected I would really appreciate it!!

The new sketch is up at Let's Scrap!! It's sketch 5-2-12 and it's another amazing sketch by Cheri O'Neill.

Here is my take on it:

At our God daughter's baptism in 2010. I made the fan-fold flowers myself with some scraps of paper that I had left(the longer scraps of course). I hope that the title is still readable...it looks questionable on-line to me but it says "A Child of God" and I had bought these letter stamps to do a monogram for our wedding. They were super cheap at Michael's(on clearance) and I never did use them and I found them again when I came home to my parent's as we were going through some more wedding stuff to either sell/giveaway/throw and I found these and was going to get rid of them and then thought I could use these and it's such a nice decorative font. I also saved my roses from Hobby Lobby that I'm trying to figure out something crafty to do with. They were sitting in centerpiece bowls and hopefully I can think of something. My centerpieces were white pumpkins and red roses.

So anyways, go check out the A team's creations for the new sketch at Let's Scrap and if you're not playing along already, hop on over to play along with our [Inter] National Scrapbooking Day challenges!!

Happy Scrappin'!
