Cut It Up Challenge #3-Survivor

Hi everyone! Happy Friday!

It's time for another Cut It Up Challenge! Challenge #3 is to make a paper project in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month which is October! Remember you must include a die-cut! The challenge ends October 17th at noon EST.

Here is what I came up with for this challenge:
I kept the card fairly simple. On top of my white cardstock(5 1/2 X 4 1/4) I laid down a deep hunter green mat(5 1/4 X 4) and then laid down this pretty patterned cardstock from the Tattered and Worn  stack by Hobby Lobby's Paper Studio pack and this measures at 5 X 3 3/4. I added the hunter green doily lace by using my Martha Stewart punch and the stamp mat is a Sizzix die that I ran through my cuttlebug. I then stamped my sentiment and inked around the edges in Tim Holtz's "Victorian Velvet" ink.

The sentiment says: "I have lived, laughed, loved, and lost. I have cried, mourned, and grieved, hoped, prayed, and healed. I have found strength and true beauty. I am a survivor." So inspiring!
I then added this pretty flower on the bottom corner and stuck a pink, glitter ribbon button in the center. Very simple and elegant card!!

So now it's your turn! Check out the post at Cut It Up Challenges and you can see what prize we are offering up this time as well as the other DT member's creations. Remember, it's only one entry per person and you must include a die-cut!

Thanks so much for stopping by and happy paper crafting!!
