It's Wednesday again and you know what that means....another new sketch from Let's Scrap!! This week's sketch is a card sketch and I really enjoyed making this one.
I made this card really late one night and when I say late I'm saying like 1:40 a.m. in the morning. I had a nap after work and it turned into sleeping most of the day away because my body ignored the alarm clock. Oops...well anyways, I used this fun striped paper that I had scraps left over from previous cards and then all the images are from Cricut's "Victorian Romance" cartridge which is a really fun and beautiful cartridge. Then I stamped each letter individually to make the sentiment and inked around the edges in brown, added two different kinds of ribbon and voila!!
About the time I finished this card, my DH came home from work and I showed him my card and he said "cool, very Victorian". *swoon* I love that he gets me and what I'm trying to accomplish. I know that it is a Victorian cartridge but still, some guys would still not get that it's Victorian themed and/or wouldn't even care. I love that my DH does care and gets it. Even though he does tell me how much I spend each month on scrapbooking/crafting supplies and gives me a displeased look. teehee! What can I say?? *whispers* Usually I say something like, "but honey, I bought everything on sale/clearance!" haha

Your husband is a real keeper Jennifer, you are so lucky he gets it. Your card is wonderful, I love the pleated ribbon, the pretty images and great sentiment.
