Bee-Ware!! S-Fold Card

Hello again!

I have another Halloween card for you and I'm so excited about this one! It is an S-fold card and it's my first one that I've ever made. This is for Cardz T.V.'s Challenge 117--SSSooo SSSpooky! Lot's of details went into this card.

The bottom patterned paper is from DCWV's Halloween and Fall stack and the bats paper is from a Paper Studio's Spooky stack that I got at Hobby Lobby last year. I used my new cricut cartridge Create a Critter 2 to make all the die-cuts. The moon I had to make it quite large(I think it was a size 8") and then the bee was about 3.5". I don't remember what size I made the gates but I wanted them big enough to see, but I still had to do some trimming to get everything to match up. I made the sentiment on my computer and since it was a bee dressed up, I made the sentiment, "Bee-ware!!" I added a few rhinestones that I got at Walmart.

 When you open it up, you can see the tombstone and hiding beneath the sentiment was the coffin's writing, "R.I.P." Behind the moon there was a grey cloud and a vampire bat with the sentiment "Happy Haunting!" on it!

I loved this challenge so much and I think it turned out so cute and I love that I have finally made my first S-fold card! Thanks Mary for giving a great tutorial on how to do that and for the fantastic challenge at Cardz T.V.

Come If You Dare Halloween Card

Hi everyone!

Happy Sunday! I have another Halloween card that I'd like to share with you. I started really early on my Halloween card making this year and I'm so in love with this holiday and I really hope you don't get too sick of my Halloweeny projects! I am entering this for Cardz T.V.'s Challenge #14--Happy Holidays which is where you get to pick any holiday you wish and use any colors you like.

I used my Happy Hauntings cartridge to cut this cute vampire out. Yes, I did say cute and vampire in the same sentence! He is popped up on foam tape on top of a frame I cut from the Accent Essentials cartridge.

 The "come if you dare" sentiment is from a stamp set that Hobby Lobby had this year for their Halloween merchandise.

 I really think he looks cute. lol!!

 What I really love about this creation, is the blood splatter stamp. It came in the same set of Halloween stamps from Hobby Lobby and I just stamped it all over in red on a cream card stock base for a very scary card featuring this vampire.

I think he is one of my favorite cards I've made this year so far. What do you think??

Snowflakes Are Kisses Sent from Heaven Card

Hi everyone,

Tonight's creation is for Mary at Cardz T.v.'s challenge which is to make a card using a snowflake or a snowman and also My Craft Spot's Challenge #63-Christmas in July challenge. It will be my first Christmas card for this year.

I did a snowflake using Cricut's "Joys of the Season" cartridge. The snowflake papers are from DCWV's Winter stack. and the fun shape to mat the snowflake is from Cricut's "Accent Essentials" cartridge. Once I had everything cut out and glued down, I used foam tape and popped up my snowflake and then I stickled my snowflake with star dust! It is SO sparkly!! I then stamped "Snowflakes are Kisses sent from Heaven"(stamp from My Craft Spot blog) and inked around the edges of the sentiment. I just love it!! It really glitters like real, fresh snow as it falls to the ground. :D
