Garden of Weedin' Layout

Hi everyone,

Lots of bling on the layout I have to show you today. This is a layout of my friend and I making our DIY Dandelion blowing in the wind t-shirts. We made them with a loofah and fabric paint. You can check out the post on this craft HERE. 

I got a little crafty with this layout as well. I used this sketch from PageMaps:

I thought this sketch was very fitting as the flowers look like the dandelions we made. I started out with the blue card stock base and then took a white card stock and spritzed it with Tattered Angels Electric blue glimmer mist and then spritzed it with Tattered Angels Viva pink glimmer mist. Loved the results. It matched my photos perfectly!!

I then went around the bottom and top of the white glimmer misted paper with some pink glitter glue and then around the blue edges with some silver glitter glue. It's a very sparkly layout with so much bling!

 Since dandelions are weeds, I went with the title of "Garden of Weedin'" and I cut this at 1" from my Cricut and used green card stock and then went over it with green stickles!

 From my Accent Essentials cartridge, I found this "flower" cut and it's in a group of flowers. Almost looks like snowflakes. It cuts 4 images at once. Two of the snowflake/flower, one diamond shaped image, and what looks like a sparkle/asterisk image. For the open ones, I layered the two snowflake flowers together and then some I folded over to get the smaller ones on the bottom. Then I stickled them with Crystal stickles and used green stickles for the stem.

I've very pleased with how this layout turned out and I think it's very crafty for a crafty subject that I was scrapping.

Scrappin' Again!

Hey everyone!

It's my day off and I made some scrapping plans!! Now that Christmas is over, I'm going to be scrapping more again.

So this next layout I've been trying to figure out what I'm going to do with it for a while, and I had  a layout planned for it, but it just wasn't working out. I finally gave up after trying different variations of the layout and still not being satisfied.

Now I've found a layout that worked out for me. PageMaps Jillibean Soup sketch contest has a really cute sketch right now.

I just took this layout and doubled it for a 2 page layout so I could use all of my photos from the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade. This is a very colorful layout!! I'm definitely pleased with the results though.

Now I'm off to try to do another challenge. Hopefully be back tonight to post!

Last Hurrah for Halloween Layouts

Good evening!

I have 3 layouts to share tonight. I got together with my friend Tiff again and did some scrappin'. This is my last hurrah this weekend for Halloween themed things so I brought my stuff over to do 3 Halloween-y layouts. They all take place at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party.

The first is is for Let's Scrap's 10-26-11 layout. It is at the fireworks show. It is fantastic. They have awesome Disney Halloween music remixes and fun shadows that happen on the castle. You can see the shadow of a jack-o-lantern on the main picture in this layout.

The second is for Colour Q's challenge #108. I also used Let's Scrap 9-22-10 sketch. This was at the Disney's Villains show at the party.

The last one is for Page Maps studio purge contest. A few pictures of what we wore that night. Matching kimonos! 

Thanks for taking a look! I am done with the Halloween honeymoon part of the trip and Halloween this year for scrapping. Now I'm off to do some more Halloween cards before I move on to the next holiday. :)

Page Maps Challenge

Evening!

A very productive day in the scrapbooking world today. I did get three 2 page layouts completed. This is only of the 3 two pagers. I will upload the rest shortly after this one tonight. I was crafting today with my great friend, Tiff and I brought my Cricut over to her place to use and I had a blond moment and when I opened the cricut box, I realized I forgot to put the power cord in as well. So, I am just adding a few journaling tags to my pages and then they are officially completed.

I am submitting this one into Page Maps. I made it into a two pager. This is our first day in Epcot-Day 3 of our honeymoon. I'm looking forward to the pages to come...scrapping the World Showcase!
