Happy Friday everyone!
It's time for a new challenge at Cut It Up Challenges. This week, challenge #6 is Button Day! You must include somewhere on your project 2 or more buttons and also remember to include your die-cut. This was such a fun one for me to do and my DT sisters did a great job! Such fun ideas for using buttons. Make sure you check out my sister's projects also
HERE.
Here is what I created for this challenge:
I just loved how this turned out. Makes me smile whenever I look at it. Ok, so the patterned background paper and patterned paper of his jacket is from DCWV's Winter and Christmas stack. Around the background I did a tan mat on top of a red card. I also tore some white paper for snow...but you can't tell as much b/c of my two die-cuts.
This snowman is cut from the Snow Friends cartridge and I turned him arms up to his face so it looks like he is giving kisses. I used 2 buttons for his buttons on his jacket. The Snow Kisses sentiment is from My Craft Spot's White Christmas stamp set.
This snow covered tree is from Create a Critter 2. To give it that sparkling, fresh snow look, I added some Stardust stickles to the snow on the tree.
This has to be one of the cutest cards I've ever made...in my opinion. So stinking cute!
Here is the prize we are giving out this week, sponsored by Cut It Up:
